Terms and Conditions

Last updated: May 5, 2026

These terms are drafted to clearly document the intent, limits, and process of Dooit UPSC. They should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before final commercial launch or payment rollout.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Dooit UPSC website, mobile application, educational content, AI Q&A, current affairs, MCQ practice, study planner, support channels, subscription features, and any future learning services that link to these terms.

By accessing or using Dooit UPSC, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

If you use Dooit UPSC on behalf of another person, institution, or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on their behalf.

2. Nature of the Platform

Dooit UPSC is an independent educational technology platform for UPSC Civil Services preparation. It is designed to support learning, revision, practice, current affairs understanding, and daily preparation planning.

Dooit UPSC is not the Union Public Service Commission, is not a government authority, is not affiliated with UPSC, and is not authorized to issue official exam notifications, admit cards, results, eligibility decisions, or government instructions.

The platform is a preparation companion. It is not a school, university, coaching guarantee, public authority, legal advisor, career placement agency, or final source of official exam truth.

3. Educational Use and User Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use the educational material, AI answers, current affairs summaries, MCQ explanations, notes, planner tasks, and recommendations provided by Dooit UPSC.

You should use the platform as one part of a broader preparation strategy that may include standard books, official UPSC syllabus, previous year papers, newspapers, government sources, coaching notes, peer discussion, and your own judgment.

You must verify critical exam information, including official notifications, syllabus changes, eligibility criteria, age limits, reservation rules, attempt limits, application deadlines, fee rules, admit card instructions, exam centers, answer keys, and results from official UPSC or government sources.

4. AI-Generated Content

Dooit UPSC may provide AI-generated answers, explanations, summaries, comparisons, PYQ themes, current affairs framing, topic suggestions, MCQs, study tasks, and revision signals.

AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, outdated, overconfident, or unsuitable for a specific answer-writing strategy. You must use your own judgment before relying on it.

AI content is not professional legal, financial, medical, psychological, political, government, or career advice. It is provided for educational assistance only.

Sensitive topics such as religion, caste, gender, security, politics, constitutional issues, international relations, historical conflicts, and ethics require extra caution. You should cross-check such content with reliable sources and use balanced judgment.

We may update, limit, moderate, refuse, or remove AI outputs where we believe doing so is necessary for safety, accuracy, legal compliance, product quality, or prevention of misuse.

5. No Guarantee of Selection or Results

Dooit UPSC does not guarantee UPSC selection, rank, marks, interview call, Prelims qualification, Mains qualification, final appointment, job placement, scholarship, admission, or any specific preparation outcome.

UPSC results depend on many factors outside our control, including your consistency, understanding, answer writing, revision, health, exam-day performance, competition level, official evaluation, changing exam patterns, and personal circumstances.

Any references to momentum, improvement, smart preparation, micro-goals, practice loops, or exam readiness are product and learning claims, not promises of selection.

6. Accounts and Eligibility

You may need an account to use app features such as AI Q&A history, MCQ progress, planner tasks, bookmarks, subscriptions, and profile settings.

You agree to provide accurate account information, keep login credentials confidential, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

You are responsible for all activity under your account unless the activity was caused by our proven security failure.

The platform is intended for users who can lawfully use digital services and provide valid consent under applicable law. If a minor uses the platform, a parent or lawful guardian should supervise usage.

7. Subscriptions, Pricing, Free Access, and Payments

Dooit UPSC may offer free access with daily limits and paid plans such as Dooit Premium. Pricing, benefits, limits, and availability may change over time.

The current website may display plan information, app download calls to action, and placeholder store links. Actual purchase terms may depend on the app store, payment gateway, in-app purchase rules, or subscription page shown at the time of purchase.

Paid features may include expanded AI Q&A, full current affairs access, unlimited or higher-limit MCQs, personalized study planning, bookmarks, revision support, ad-free usage, or other benefits listed in the app.

Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers such as app stores or payment gateways. Their terms, refund rules, chargeback rules, taxes, and processing policies may apply in addition to these terms.

Unless a specific refund policy says otherwise, fees may be non-refundable after purchase except where required by law, app store policy, payment gateway rules, or a written decision by Dooit UPSC.

We may offer trials, discounts, coupons, launch pricing, student offers, or promotional access. These offers may be modified or withdrawn without creating a permanent entitlement.

8. Rate Limits, Fair Use, and Feature Availability

Some features may be subject to daily limits, fair-use limits, technical limits, anti-abuse limits, subscription limits, or temporary restrictions.

AI features may be limited due to high traffic, cost controls, provider downtime, maintenance, model safety restrictions, account misuse, or legal reasons.

We may disable, reduce, increase, or redesign limits as the product evolves. Temporary access, free access, beta access, or disabled paywalls do not create a permanent right to unlimited use.

9. Current Affairs and Exam Information

Current affairs content is prepared or generated for educational understanding and UPSC relevance. It may include summaries, GS paper mapping, Prelims angle, Mains angle, probable question framing, examples, and related topics.

Current affairs changes rapidly. Information may become outdated, corrected, disputed, or superseded by official notifications or later developments.

You must verify important factual claims, official schemes, legal changes, statistics, international developments, government notifications, and exam-related dates from authoritative sources before relying on them.

10. MCQs, Scores, Planner, and Progress

MCQ questions, answers, explanations, difficulty tags, and analysis are provided for practice and revision. They are not official UPSC answer keys unless explicitly identified as official and sourced.

Scores, weak-area tracking, mistake notebooks, streaks, progress charts, and revision signals are learning aids. They may not perfectly measure your actual exam readiness.

Study plans and micro-goals are generated from your inputs and app logic. They should be adjusted by you according to health, schedule, coaching commitments, optional subject needs, test-series plans, and real preparation constraints.

We may update planner logic, MCQ scoring, topics, explanations, subject mapping, or progress calculations to improve reliability. Historical metrics may change as a result.

11. User Content and User Inputs

User content includes prompts, questions, answers submitted by you, notes, bookmarks, profile entries, support messages, uploaded materials if enabled, feedback, and any other information you provide.

You confirm that you have the right to submit your user content and that it does not violate law, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, confidentiality obligations, or these terms.

You grant Dooit UPSC a limited license to process, store, display, analyze, and use your user content as necessary to provide the service, improve safety, operate support, maintain records, and develop the platform, subject to our Privacy Policy.

You should not submit confidential exam papers, paid coaching material you are not authorized to share, copyrighted books, personal documents, passwords, OTPs, payment PINs, government IDs, or sensitive information not needed for learning.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use Dooit UPSC for unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, exploitative, violent, extremist, or privacy-invasive purposes.

You must not attempt to hack, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, bypass rate limits, abuse AI credits, create fake accounts, share accounts commercially, resell access, or interfere with platform security.

You must not upload or share malware, viruses, unauthorized copyrighted content, leaked materials, impersonation content, false government claims, misleading exam notices, or content that threatens public order, national security, or the rights of others.

You must not represent AI-generated content as official UPSC material or use Dooit UPSC to mislead other aspirants.

13. Intellectual Property

The Dooit UPSC brand, logo, design, user interface, code, content structure, feature flows, explanations, study systems, generated compilations, and platform materials are owned by or licensed to Dooit UPSC, except for content clearly owned by others.

You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal educational preparation.

You may not copy, reproduce, sell, distribute, publish, mirror, scrape, train competing systems on, or commercially exploit Dooit UPSC content without written permission.

Fair personal study use is allowed. Commercial redistribution, bulk copying, automated extraction, or paid resale is not allowed.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The platform may rely on or link to third-party services such as Google Play, Apple App Store, Firebase, Supabase, AI model providers, payment gateways, analytics tools, crash reporting tools, email tools, and official or reference websites.

We are not responsible for third-party terms, policies, uptime, security, content, payment handling, refunds, or decisions except where applicable law says otherwise.

External links are provided for convenience or reference. A link does not mean endorsement of all content on the linked website.

15. Service Changes, Downtime, and Beta Features

We may add, remove, modify, rename, redesign, suspend, or discontinue features, content, pricing, limits, models, providers, or platform flows.

The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, internet failures, cloud outages, third-party provider issues, security incidents, high demand, legal orders, or product changes.

Some features may be experimental, beta, AI-generated, partially automated, or under active improvement. Such features may change frequently and may not always work as expected.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these terms, created risk for the platform or other users, misused AI or payment systems, infringed rights, violated law, or created security concerns.

You may stop using the platform at any time. Account deletion or subscription cancellation may be available through the app, app store, payment gateway, or support process depending on how your account was created.

Termination may result in loss of access to learning history, bookmarks, progress, subscriptions, AI history, planner data, and other account-linked features, subject to legal retention requirements.

17. Disclaimers

Dooit UPSC is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly accurate, always updated, free from harmful components, or suitable for every aspirant.

We do not warrant that AI answers, current affairs, MCQs, explanations, study notes, planner tasks, or recommendations will match official UPSC expectations, examiner preferences, coaching standards, or your personal circumstances.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dooit UPSC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of marks, loss of opportunity, loss of data, loss of preparation time, emotional distress, lost profits, or exam-related consequences.

Our total liability for any claim related to the platform will be limited to the amount you paid to Dooit UPSC for the relevant service during the twelve months before the claim, or INR 1,000 if no amount was paid, unless applicable law requires a different limit.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

19. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dooit UPSC, its operators, team members, contractors, partners, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the platform, violation of these terms, violation of law, infringement of rights, or unauthorized sharing of content.

20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer protection or other applicable laws.

Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@dooitupsc.com with a clear description of the issue so we can attempt to resolve it informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, courts with appropriate jurisdiction in India will apply, unless a mandatory law requires another forum.

21. Grievance, Support, and Notices

For user support, grievances, privacy requests, intellectual property concerns, payment questions, or legal notices, contact support@dooitupsc.com.

Please include your registered email, relevant transaction ID if applicable, screenshots where useful, and a clear explanation of the issue. Do not send passwords, OTPs, payment PINs, or unnecessary sensitive personal information.

We may respond by email, in-app message, website notice, or other reasonable channel.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product, law, pricing, features, business structure, or service providers change.

Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms, subject to applicable law.
