How our daily Current Affairs editions are made
Every fact traces to a primary source
Each item in an edition carries a link to the source it came from — a government release, a court judgment, a regulator’s statement, an official report. If you doubt a line, the source is one click away. We treat that link as non-negotiable: an item without a working source link is not published at all.
Editions are assembled automatically
Our system gathers the day’s developments, groups them by GS paper, and adds the exam framing — why an item matters, what an examiner is likely to ask, and five practice questions. This runs on a schedule without a person reviewing each edition before it goes live. We are telling you this plainly because you should know how what you are reading was produced.
The framing layer is allowed to explain, connect and question. It is not allowed to introduce facts. Every name, number, date and figure in an edition comes from the sourced items, and an edition containing a figure that appears in no source is blocked before publication.
We would rather publish nothing than publish something weak
Each edition must clear a set of checks before it goes live: enough substantial items, more than one GS paper represented, a working source link on every item, a complete Hindi edition, no story repeated from the past week, and a full set of practice questions with explanations. If any check fails, no edition publishes that day. A missing day is a much smaller problem than a misleading one.
English and Hindi are equal
Every edition publishes in both languages at the same moment, or it does not publish. The Hindi edition is written for Hindi-medium aspirants in their own register — it is not a machine rendering of the English page, and technical terms carry their English equivalent so you can map them to the question paper.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. If you find an error, report it from inside the Dooit app using the flag icon on any piece of content, or write to us and we will check it against the primary source. Confirmed errors are corrected at the source, and the previous version is kept so a correction can always be traced.
What we do not do
We do not take payment to include or exclude an item. We do not publish opinion on political figures, parties or communities — our editions stay on the examinable facts and their syllabus relevance. We do not recommend or link to commercial coaching material.
