Free vs paid: what's included
Every Dooit account — free or paid — gets the complete reading and practice library, plus a daily allowance of fresh AI actions: new answers to your own doubts, quizzes generated on demand, Mains evaluation and plan refreshes. What a paid plan does is guarantee that allowance at a fixed daily limit. Here is exactly how it works, plan by plan.
What is free for everyone
All of this is open every day on the Free plan, with no daily limit:
- Every study note — browse any subject and topic under Study Material.
- Current affairs — the daily feed, full articles and the 7/30-day revision digest.
- MCQ practice from the existing question bank, including past-year questions (PYQs).
- Your mistakes notebook, weak-topic diagnosis and trend analytics.
- Your daily revision queue in Revise Today.

What the daily AI allowance covers
These are the moments when Dooit's AI does fresh work just for you, and they draw from your daily allowance:
- Asking your own doubt and getting a brand-new AI answer.
- Generating a fresh MCQ quiz on demand.
- Getting a Mains answer evaluated on the examiner-style rubric (six areas, scored out of 15).
- Refreshing your study plan.
- Photo-to-text — the app reading your handwritten Mains pages.
Doubts, fresh quizzes and Mains evaluations all draw from one shared pool of daily AI actions — they are not separate allowances. Plan refreshes and photo-to-text have their own small daily counters. Everything resets at midnight IST. Every account gets a daily allowance, including Free accounts — we keep the Free allowance generous during our launch period and adjust it from time to time. A paid plan locks your limits in, so your prep never depends on launch-period settings.

The app sums each plan up in one line: Aspirant is "10 AI doubts/day. Solid foundation.", Serious is "50 AI doubts/day. The toppers' pick." and Elite is "100 AI doubts/day. Unstoppable prep." In the plan sheet, Serious carries the MOST CHOSEN badge and comes pre-selected. The exact amount on the payment sheet is set by Google Play and can differ slightly from the prices listed here. *Free allowances during the launch period are set by us and can change without notice; paid limits are guaranteed for your whole subscription. What happens when you hit a limit
Nothing dramatic. When you finish the day's AI allowance — on any plan — the screen changes to a friendly notice — You've used today's free AI quota — that lists everything still open to you. A Keep learning button takes you straight back to studying, and the small Want unlimited AI? See plans link opens the plan sheet if you would rather upgrade than wait. Fresh AI returns at midnight IST.
Paid users can watch the day's usage any time: open Settings, tap Manage subscription and check the Today's usage gauges.

Frequently asked questions
What counts as one AI action?
Asking the AI a new doubt, generating a fresh MCQ quiz, or getting a Mains answer evaluated each count as one action from the same daily pool. Reading notes, current affairs, the MCQ bank or PYQs never counts.
Do already-answered doubts use up my daily limit?
No. If another aspirant has already asked the same doubt, the answer is served from the shared library and does not count against your daily limit.
When does my daily limit reset?
At midnight IST, every day.
Can I prepare on the Free plan alone?
You can read and practise without limits — every study note, current affairs, the MCQ bank, PYQs, your mistakes, trends and revision are all free. Free accounts also get a daily allowance of AI actions, kept generous during our launch period. Paid plans guarantee your daily limits so your prep never depends on launch-period settings.
Which plan do most aspirants choose?
